Just wondering what could be the reason behind my security check went for “Comprehensive” type. It takes years I heard. Have any idea?

No one can know the reason behind it but make sure it's going to be over one day. It took me 18 months to pass it.

You mean 18 months from the day security check started? Or the whole PR process?

And did you ever think of opting writ of Mandamus? Because 18 months is insane. We are just common people with no criminal record, even then IRCC thinks these deep checks are necessary
