BACKGROUND TOTAL PROCESSING TIMES

Hi fellows immigrants ,

i am here to ask whats the total processsing times for background clearance for permanent residency. everything has been done from my side medicals, Rrpf done. 2 months ago cic asked for new Rcmp pcc certificate, its been over a month & there has been no update on my status. My question is how long does it take for Cic to process background clearance. its been 25 months in total and i am still not permanent yet.

It's really impossible to say. It varies very greatly based on where you've lived, where you've worked, who you've worked for, organizations you've been part of, whether you have any criminality issues, etc.
