Background checks

Hello Everyone

my wife filed my case in jan 10 and got sponsorship done in feb10.CHC delhi requested my passport in march10(26) and since then they are doing background checks from UK and Canada where i was on student and work permit respectively.
its a long wait.Can anyone help wats happening with my case y so long?we are planning to go to CHC delhi to meet em personally.Will they meet or we shd have appointment?

regarding background check its depend on office and visa officer too. if your visa officer satisfy with your docs which you have provide then shouldn't take long. i heard that new Delhi is quite fast so don't worry. you will soon get good news.

sometime if they want to go for more back ground check then it should take long but as far your docs is good , you wont face any problem.

Hello Everyone

hi all its me jeet again.pls tell me wat shall i do.now even my medical has expired on dec 3rd 10.we have also sent email and fax to new delhi high commission for appointment.will they give us time to meet as my wife is canadian citizen.we are very tensed now.its 9 mnths for the passport gone
