Did you requested gcms notes ?

I am an outland applicant, gcms notes are only accessible for those who are pr holders, citizens or individuals or corporation in Canada. So I can't gain access to them.

From where did you get this information bro? It's incorrect!

Once you submitted your e-APR, you are totally eligible to get / order your GCMS notes.

Just visit HERE to get more information on ordering GCMS.

Thanks

+1, that's correct. Either you need a canadian contact (friend, relative etc.) or EVEN a lawyer, just some body whose address is in Canada and would receive your notes.

You can chose to do this by email and the Canadian doesn't have to be a citizen or PR.

I actually came across the said information in a few forums hence I was under that impression. Thanks for clearing up that misguided notion. Much appreciated. Will look into getting hold of my gcms notes now.

Hi,

I am CEC inland applicant (AOR 26th April 2016) and my BG is in progress since 20th nov 2016.

I applied for CSE around last month with following reply

"We verified the information you provided. Everything appears to be in order with the application. Please rest assured that you will be notified as soon as the case is finalized or if additional information is required."

My medical was extended for one year too, that I saw in my gcms notes as well. This Background check is taking such a long time.

Hi Aamir,

Have you called cic after you received that generic reply? They sent me the same reply so im just wondering if thats a good thing and whether our bg check has been completed.

Thanks

Hi AdtoCanada,

I called them last week and they said the exact same thing that "Everything appears to be in order with the application". Afterwards I explicitly asked them about the security check and they said it is still on going. I have stopped calling them as I am fed up with the wait time, same answers from the cic agents and that horrible wait music.

This is likely the same situation with me. It was Not Applicable but has changed to

"Your Application is in Progress, the next step is conduct a background check"

What does this mean?
