Dear Qorax,
I hope you can assist me again with my query. I applied in March 2011 and completed my medicals in August 11. I got medical received line in November 2011. My address disappeared from Jan till June 2012. It reappeared couple of days back. On my first inquiry to LVO in Jan 2012 , I got a reply that B/G checks results are awaited. In March 2012 i got a reply that B/G checks are complete and this file is awaiting review by an IO. I have ordered caips last week and send an inquiry but no reply from the VO. I would appreciate if you could throw some light on the case. I also have noticed that there are a few applicants with medicals done in aug and sept 2011 who are waiting their step 1 ppr's. Is it that the applicants would be processed together or something. I m quite confused and need your assistance.

Ur file was in 'waiting area' for 3-yrs. Most probably has come out of it now, recently, and it's processing has recommenced. Ur CAIPS/GCMS notes were retrieved sometime back -- if it was now, u'd've found a new BFD. Another few months - and u could see ur meds.

Thank you for sharing procedure in detail , from that I can understand that when e-cas shows "In-Process" , application has passed Paper Screening & verification of credentials etc , and either additional documents are required or Medicals will be called?.

Please confirm my understanding

My e-cas is 'In-Process" since May 25,2011 , and my VO is London

We received your application for permanent residence on November 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 2011 to (address). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 2011.

But last week onwards my home address(Indian) is showing on CAS. Before that it was not there. How long will i have to wait for my medicals and other procedure to get visa? Its almost one and a half years now since i got my file number. Will there be any problem in my application?

I recieved a call today from the canadian high commission delhi asking me to confirm my residential address... Could you PLEASE tell what could the reasons be for it.. i had submitted my application to cic canada on 12th sep 2011 n got the file no on dec 13th 2011.. On 21st Jan i again recieved an email notifying that my application has reached to New delhi... Please tell me what could i be recieving through a courier or mail and what steps should i be taking next...do do reply please....

They've 'deadline dates' is GCMS... which r pretty similar to BFDs [of CAIPS] but not exactly the same.

That's right in the conventional sense. However, our files could be 'reassessed' anytime [by any other cell of CIC] till we get the PPRs.

Around 3rd qtr of this yr. ur file would come out of the mandatory 2-yrs. 'wait queue', then it's processing would recommence.
