Hi all,

I need your input on this issue, because I am disturbed.

I had applied for the FBI report here in the US, the report came today stating that I was arrested because my Visa was expired, hence out of status "alien inadmissibility". Do you think this will have a negative decision on my case?

I have done my medicals, I was waiting for the FBI report so that I can send the requested documents all at ones.

Awaiting your response

Thank you

It shouldn't affect ur Canadian PR processing.

Dear qorax,

could you say something about my situation? ... It's been more than 9 months and absolutely no news of PPR ... I'm extremely depressed

(caips notes in Dec 2011 had blank activity since May ... gonna receive another caips notes in a month)

U could expect something around 3rd qtr of 2012 since u r a 2009 applicant... it takes around 3yrs++.

El Kapitan Qorax and other senior guys, need your expert opinion here. My eCAS is showing Decision Made since Feb 24 and my address has changed to Mississauga, Ontario. Does this mean a positive decision is made already and we're about to receive our passports back with visa? Is this change in address normal for positive DMs or this is always the case for all DMs positive or negative? Are there still works done even with the DM?

I'm a bit concerned since it's been over a week now and we still haven't received it. We've checked the courier that serves the delivery and they do not have our names in their delivery queue.

I hope this is just a delay...

Thanks!

A 'DM' after pps submission suggests those r stamped.

That was a quick one! Thanks Qorax. I am a bit worried because I still haven't received my passport back. Those in the same timeline as I do already have their passports with the maple leaf earlier this week.

Is it normal for your address line to change to your intended city of residence in Canada as reflected in your application?

Happy weekend El Kapitan!

one of my friend apply for PR in Sep.11,But he was convicted in 2007 for beating his neighborhood by iron rod & court ask him to Rs.400.00 as a f9,he already had an decission copy from court

Dear Qorax,

I had asked you earlier regarding my situation. And you had suggested that i should be getting my PPR step1 in jan 2012 or feb 2012. But no news so far as March has already begun. Can you kindly let me know what the situation might be.

FSW applicant
Applied March 2011
Medical done August 2011
Medical line added on ecas Oct 2011
London visa office

Last email i got from LVO saying B/G checks seems to be complete waiting for review by an IO. This email was in Feb 2012. Its been quite a long time since medicals i beleive.

Hope you could shed some light on this .

Hi qorax, I just noticed on CAIPS notes from Dec 2011:

Country of Birth: Country-A
Citizenship: Country-A

when the reality is that I filled my application form like this:

Country of Birth: Country-A
Citizenship: Country-B

my passport is also from country-B so I don't understand why CIC/VO committed such a gross blunder ... there is no mention of country-B on the CAIPS notes ... (I'm living in US which is neither country-A nor country-B)

is this the reason my case is taking so long in security checks? what should I do about it? do I tell VO that I ordered CAIPS and found this mistake or should I just wait?

Hi all
I am following this thread from a while .I sent my application for PR under FSW on July 1st 2011, got an email from CIC on September with my client code number and another email from Buffalo visa office in January with same code number. Now,in my E-cas address has been disappeared since 5 weeks and still shows" in process ".
Any idea when would I expect my medical request.

I would be thankful for all replies.

Mike

1. No. U should avoid unnecessary/frequent correspondences.
2. -ditto-
3. U'd receive remeds once ur security check/s r cleared.
4. Not required -- they know.
5. Ur security clearances aren't yet recd.
6. U may, it'd reflect where ur file is now & what ur IO thinks.
7. Fair chances...

Though it wouldn't effect anything... makes no diff in ur b/ground & security checks... and the errors would be cleared once ur file is nearing the final review - yet u may inform ur IO reg. that. At least this could rekindle ur processing.

Hi Qorax. Under decision made, Is it normal for your address line to change to your intended city of residence in Canada as reflected in your application? Means approval?
