pls explain me ,i sent an inquiry to CHC London.the reply is this,

your file is undergoing the background checks.

does it mean right now my full application is going for checks or only additional docs r going for background checks.(on 9th oct my add docs were reached there,docs r PCC,POF and my uncle's documents as a proof of residenc

or

only PCC is under check.can we get medical during background checks.if vo have issued medical,would he tell us during inquirey of file status.

WE WERE ASKED TO SEND PASSPORTS FOR FAMILY IMMIGRATION VISA AND TO CONTACT IMMIGRATION OFFICER IF I DID NOT HEAR FROM THEM FOR SIX WEEKS. AFTER 7 WEEKS I CONTACTED THEM AS PER THERE INSTRUCTION. THEY REPLIED THAT MY APPLICATION IS UNDERGOING BACKGROUND CHECKS AND IT WILL TAKE A COUPLE OF MORE WEEKS AND THAT IF NEED MY PASSPORTS OR WANT MY PASSPORTS TO BE THERE WITH THEM. MY REPLY WAS THAT NO PROBLEM IF OUR PASSPORTS REMAIN THERE ALTHOUGH MY SON WHO IS IN CANADA STUDYING IN UNIVERSITY, NEEDS TO RENEW HIS STUDY PERMIT WHICH IS TO EXPIRE IN DECEMBER, 2011.THE NEXT DAY THE REPLY WAS that we are returning ALL YOUR PASSPORTS AFTER 4 DAYS AND THAT THEY WILL LET US KNOW WHEN OUR FILE IS FINALIZED FOR ISSUANCE.
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT IT MEANS

My dedical was done on 27th July, 2011. On 12th September I received additional medical information request from CHC London. The required information reached London on 04th October, 2011. I wrote CHC on 17th October about the status of the my case, following reply received

"These results will be in a queue awaiting review.

There is a backlog in medical review at present and so please allow sufficient time for this review to take place.

We have noted the information you have provided on file."

What do you think, how much time they will take to issue me PPR.

Please help me. The visa office requested me to send up-to-date application, bank statement, PCC for me and my wife, and graduation certificate for my spouse. I have couriered the same to them and they received the documents in October 9, 2011.

I sent them an email to inform them that the documents were received by them on such and such date as per the TNT courier company. Then I noticed that I have addressed the email to the main office of the embassy.

In response to this email I received an email from the main office telling me that they have forwarded my email to the officer in charge of my case. What puzzling me is, they also requested me to add (HN) to the end of my file number in future communication with them. They asked me to mention the file number as B********(HN) instead of the original number B********.

Please Qorax, what is (HN) at the end of the file number means.

I sent the updated forms Aug 2011, and the email reply (Oct 2011) was same as urz "under background checks"
as per my caips (July 2011) Positive selection decision has been made, interview has been waived
I am waiting for MR
My address is there in the ecas as of today

My address has disappeared since 1st Nov-2011 .

Meds can only be releaqsed AFTER the b/g checks r over/comnpleted.

Your b/g checks r going to take longer than expected - which is why your pps were returned.

how long wil it take because my med wil expire on apr 30 2011. will b/g checks be finished by that time and if not the wil they give us extra time after med expiry.
