File in Process Since 16th December 2014. After that nothing

My Consultant raised CSE and got reply that background verification going on by third party so cannot provide time frame as to when processing shall be completed.

I applied for GCMS which i got in May that too, Visa officer Notes and Activity section blanked out under 15(1) and 16(1)c section of Privacy Act.

As i am led to believe by several persons that, this means background checks are underway so thats why GCMS notes certain section blanked out.

Its very frustrating, dont know why such a long period for Background Check.

Does anybody have idea why it it so??

THIS HAPPEND WITH FAMOUS NAMES, SAME NAME WITH SOME SORT OF BAD ACTIVITIES, COUNTIRIS VISITED, ETC.
BUT DONT WORRY AT THE END THEY WILL CLEAR IT AS VO ALWAYS GIVE FAVOUR TO THE APPLICANTS.

Hi I have got faireness letter due to my kidney transplant.i answered them with documents and good reasons..it was complete and satisfing.after one year I got another one for security check problem of my husband..what does it mean..? Did they accept my response and now commence security check? How is the process in Paris embassy? Did they begin that without getting decision on the medical results..? Any cooperation will be appreciated

Some transactions from the a/c is acceptable, but u must maintain at least 70-80% of it in the bank. Besides, by the time u get your Meds - u must keep the full funds in the a/c.

Friends, can anyone plz clarify the above answer from Qorax back in 2010?

Application processing time is undefined and varies by VOs. Nowadays, we have such factors as strong currency devaluations which make people remove deposits, change bank accounts, invest in property and so on.

Bank account of each applicant is private asset, information about which cannot be breached without consent of applicant. How is it possible if VO checks the actual amount on anybody's bank account? Did we have any cases like these in this forum?

my employment verification occured one month ago. it went 50-50 as questions related to my employment went very well but as it was my previous employer so staff has been changed and some people were new like finance officer and administration guys. its been a month since i have heard nothing from LVO. i am from pakistan and the verification call was from islamabad CHC. need help what should be the expected reply afterwards. Why there is a delay from hearing them.

ECAS still showing in process and 2nd line.

it is taking long time when 50:50 because either they have to issue letter or they have to consult with managers. don't worry try to keep all documents and maximise documentation to argue with cic in case of negative openion.

I agree I had visited 4 countries in europe but that was just for honeymoon i.e for hardly 1-2 days or so!!!!!!.

How much more time will it take for PR???????

after security check, how about your eligibility passed or not?
it may take 3-9 months from April 25, 2015

Thanks for your reply neekol one more querry-my husband has changed 2 jobs since we filed the application but he is not the principal applicant should we inform cic about it?

thanks for your answeres..would you please tell me when is exact time of starting security check? Does it start after finishing medical and submitting them? Is it possible they start that when a file has problem of medical inadmissibility and the problem has not been solved?-

no one can predict but after primary documents check completion and eligibility passing they work on security.
medical check is different from security checks.

baby born congratulations. No need for GCMS just wait and enjoy with your kid. normally it took 2-5 months depending upon the availability of VO. just send them one friendly reminder after 31st day of each month.

Thank you for the suggestion. My immigration consultant however is against sending reminder notifications until we receive the MR of the newborn. Dont know if sending friendly reminders will cause any negative impact to our file. My VO is New Delhi which is one of the most busy VO. My MR validity is till Dec 2015 so i hope things work out for me before that.
