this week i m expecting my gcms hopefully
last was in may 2013 and at that time security screening was in process.
now CSI reply "file awaiting review by officer"
let us see.

When did u placed a request? Even I am expecting my GCSM this week cause this is the fifth week...

I found this explanation of 'Due Dates' by Qorax on Trackitt. Hope helps. however this is contrary to the
earlier explanation. Am still not sure which is the procedure followed by NDVO....

I am seeing due dates for each category - Eligibility, Security,Criminality,Medical, All have due dates : 07/13/2011, But i have not received any notification from the VO as yet. What does these dates actually mean? Around this same time also my address had disappeared from the ecas system.

Yes, 'coz those r stage/step completion dates, viz. by which a staff of the VO ought to finish his/her work on your file.

However, it's potent to note that quite a few may not complete [the reasons r many, one - the next step is interlinked to the previous, two - some external assessment couldn't be completed etc.].

Which is why the processing takes much long [in most cases] than anticipated... which is why also, that u weren't notified anything.

it means they are working on your file and soon u will receive PPR1 if secuiryt is passed if security is in progress/process then it may take to two three more month to wait.

Yes I know a guy who was asked for interview after medical. But strangely to determine eligibility, thats what he was told about the reason of interview.

I applied in 2010, and done medical test in may 2013, paris visa office sent me e mail saying that Im in the background check stage and may take months to complete,

please how can I check CAIPS for me ?
and is there a possibility to get rejection after medical test? or they ask for interview?

I hope your eligibility is passed then no need of Interview. only few cases Interview is called after MR for qulity checks, dot worry. soon you will hear good news from PVO, but after security screening. apply for GCMS to get further information.

please advise me, I am catching Air France flight to toronto. It has two stoppages one at paris and other at montreal.. my question is where will be the formalities for PR will be completed montreal or toronto? as they are supposed to be completed at first point of entry into Canada which is montreal in my case but I m FSW applicant.

As you are FSW you are not eligible to get PR in Quebec i.e. Montreal. you are eligible in other any state. so your POE is ontario i.e. Toronto. you will get in ontario.

this guy you knew who was called for interview, where is he from? and which is his LVO office??

I dont understand i am aware they call people for interview who seems to be a risk not everyone......moreover i was under the impression after medicals the file is 90% done, then why interview again???????
