Hello Everyone,

One of my friend got DECISION MADE on Thursday and from Friday in her status two address is showing. My friend has apply through Canadian lawyer one side is of Toronto and other side is of Canadian lawyer, My question is that VISA is CONFORM? If yes then to whom CHC will send PP? When they send PP we can come to know by mail or by some other? In covering letter address was of INDIA who is Applicant.

Hello, I am taking the privelage to answer your question. Since your submission of FBI certificate with the initial application (2010) is outdated I.e. have exceeded 12 months, it's no longer valid. You have to resubmit the FBI certificate once again, as in my case too.

There's a serious debate that since June 2012, Security/Criminality Checks are done after the Medical Request (MR) or before. Many GCMS holders say that their Sec/Crim are done before (as mentioned in notes) the MR.

Yours & like yours cases reflect that these are done after the completion of successful MR!

Hey guys

I have some questions... my application has a staus "further background verifications " since sep 2011 after returned my pp back without a visa issuance. and before 2 months I redid the medical again.

Is there any chance for refusal after medical? And how long it will take as average after medical done ?

If refusal, is there any chance for appeal ?? And how ??

All replies would be highly appreciated.

I just got reply by email from LVO states that:


"Background checks are likely to take several months to conclude. We cannot expedite these checks and will contact you when they are complete. Please do not send repeat representations in the meantime."

So when i can get PPR please & any one get same reply???

"Medical results have been received."line was addes to my ecase in June'2012.
as the visa office said background checks is still going on and the result is not received yet and Since my Medical almost expired or near to expire!!!!!I want just to know that is my BGCH took so long because I traveled and lived in Europe,,,and also last year I refused 2 times for schengen visa cause they said I have not enough reasons to leave schengen states in time...So is this refusal affect my background check and PPR????

Please help me,,,I applied also for GCMS notes and wait for the result....


Please guide me.

@mataiz, Just wait for the GCMS, BGC sometime not always takes long time as with you and me too, but BGC is nothing to do with refused visas but it is related to your travel history. if u travels more it takes long time. GCMS will give u detailed info. just wait and see. prepare yourself for the 2nd medicals, not sure but possible because of BGC. NEKEOL
