Qorax sir,

I got my GCMS 3 days ago and I see that the file has moved from ECU-MPR to Registry ( with short stopovers at three officers desk for a day or two !!). I am MI1 and IP since May 10th 2012. In June GCMS, my file was with ECU-MPR.

1. So, is it a good sign that its out of the ECU and at Registry after being ('re')processed/assessed ?
2. on 27th Nove 2012,I got a std reply to my case specific enquiry, but in the INCOMING NOTES for that day in GCMS , it says STANDARD SW- C50(MI1) SELECTION DECISION PASSED reply sent. Can I feel a bit relieved ? Whats the signifiance of SELECTION DECISION PASSED and my file moving from ECU-MPR to REGISTRY ?
3. Is it the REGISTRY that issues MR ?

the note i recieved in month of september is same as yours with application assignment due date of 2013/01/01.does ur assignment due date is also 2013/01/01. i,m june applicant,in process from march2012.
i hope we all will recieve MRs next year.i had recieved 2 gcms notes interestingly in first one which i compared today i see under PAPER FILE the office was registry and location was newdelhi in my old notes but in latest notes under PAPER FILE the office is newdelhi and location is registry. s.15(1) is marked on the right top of the pages under security,criminality,notes,clients details. i don't know whats this.

i'm MI3 applicant
applied on july 11
got PER on nov 11
In process 9/2/12
got PPR, Medical, RRPF on feb 12
I had my medical on 15/3/12 & submited passport on 23/3/12.
I got my passport back & re-submited on 6/6/12. After then no reply from NDVO.
I applied for GCMS & get to know (on 15/11/12) that Crimiality check is going. It was also stated that my NZ PCC is pending. I had singed the consent letter for NZ PCC & send NDVO with medical.
NDVO had directed sydney office for getting NZ PCC on 13/7/12 & remind again on 26/10/12.
My query is regarding how to check that NDVO received NZ PCC or not, as CSQ does'nt work here. why sydney office taking so much time in getting police certificate as NZ police has to send required information within 20 days. I got copy of my criminal record & fines from ministry of justice in 1 day.
pls advice me how to check the status besides GCMS note.

I and my employer got a verification call at same time. I had intentionaly cut the call because i am not in a condition to talk with anybody. What will impact it with my application. I know that is wrong but the condition is not in my favour. What should i do now ? My employer had given all the answers asked by them.

Dont worry my friend if the employer did all the verification then its okay....be careful next time they may call you again.....validate the information that your employer provided.....dont worry it will be all right

Seniors Please suggest me what to do
Its about 17 months gone under back ground and security checks after my my medicals and no reply from CHC, i am student visa applicant .
I contacted CSIS to tell me about my status they cleared me telling That They fornd no Record of me.
And also tell me that She called CHC Islamabad and they ask me to contact via E-mail or Fax.
I am sending E-mails them since march Not a single reply from CHC.
can you please tell me how much time i have to wait to listen to my decision.
please somebody Help me what to do ?????

I am one of the pre- Feb-2008 applicants in skilled worker class. My caips note is as follow:


PSDEC: 1 04-06-2011
SELDEC: 0
Total points: 55
Paper file sent to BP file BF’s d to: PB on 15-12-2012 MICROLOCATOR

However my points for IELTS test have not been calculated because ILETS test result was submitted to them by Brithish council in Islamabad only 4 days after the deadline in May 26 2011. The deadline for submitting all my original documents was May 22, 2011. So when I submitted my documents I only attached the slip of my ILETS test along with a cover letter that they will receive IELTS test result within a few in-coming days. Than they acknowledged the recite of my ILTEST test result by e-mail for which I can get 12 points.
Based on my caips note, I was expected to hear from CHC, Islamabad. But today is 22 of Dec 2012; still there is no news for embassy. I am getting worried. Could you please shed some lights on this that normally how long will it takes to hear after BF’d according to Caips note. On the other hand, my IELTS test result will be valid till May 8, 2013. In addition, I have sent two e-mails regarding address change and new baby born to Islamabad CHC, but there is no reply at all. the on-line status shows in-Process with my old address.

What does actually “We Started Processing” means does it means
1) They start background check
2) When background check completed then they start processing

Apart from standard timelines, we also move with our destiny-lines creating the difference in the way things actually turn up for us!
Especially after one submits PP, RPRF Fee etc. which seems to be the last leap, turns the heat to max. where holding patience get's really tough.

In my case, after my e-cas status turned "Medical---------Received", I got a letter to submit PP, RPRF & Updated Contact No and that's it.
My VO didn't mention anything like 6 weeks (as I saw in case of some applicants) or any other timeline to expect the return of our Passports.
( I hope this 6 Weeks or so is not any standard)

I wish to know that:
1) Do VO inform the applicant prior to returning the PP with Visa? If yes, how do they generally inform? via e-mail or call??
2) How PP are generally sent back to applicants?
