Hi Qorax and fellow applicants

I got NER and planing to apply again. MY question is:-

1. I heard that if someone apply second time and get NER then he/she will not return back his application fees. Is it true?

2. If some one get NER due to JD not match with NOC and apply again with modify JD in same occupation (my supervisor forgot to mention all my duties in first reference letter, I collect a new one) and it match with NOC will I get PER? or second time application reduce chance of getting PER?

Samirsa

Sorry to hear about your NER.

1. Not true. U'd yet receive your refunds if this one gets [God Forbid] rejected again.
2. If it's the same JD [re-modified] they r likely to ask questions. But your response could be accepted.

Hi Qorax,
Got 1 more que:
When I applied I didn't had any idea where to land... So I had chosen Vancouver in the form.
Now with the Passport I have received a Permanent Residency Form which I have to submit at immigration in canada. In that form also it is written Vancouver in the address.
So is it compulsory for me to first go to vancouver now? Or can I go to toronto also?

You can land anywhere except quebec.

Hi Qorax,
I apologize for reasking the same question, but I want to be sure abt this.
I am talking about the landing papers that are issued with the visa. In that the place mentioned is vancouver.
So it won't be any problem even if I land in toronto, right?
Because 2 person told me that I have to compulsorily land 1st in vancouver.
Plz. confirm once again.
Thanks.

It won't be!

HI QORAX

I have two queries.. please assist me on these..
i wanted to check if the VO people physically go to the employer being a part of the backgroud check...or what is the preferred mode of verification. Like phone or e-mail.
Secondly, i never use to get my salary slips as i use to get in cash....and mine was under the income tax threshold..i mean i never had to pay tax because salary was under the benchmark....
please advise.
Thanks

Employment verification/s much depend on the quality & quantity of your supporting docs - and the VO's perception. S/he may or may not perform any external checks... Similarly s/he may adopt any & every mean/s to do the same as well.
