Yes finally got the PPR in May 2018 and landed in June.

It started in June 2017, so 1 year almost

So it is really normal that background check takes that long? We are just waiting for DM/PPR but our background checks is running for almost 6 months now since we passed the second medical last february. And no additional documents request or anything. In short very quiet. Is this really normal? Thanks again.

There is no normal! This length of time is not uncommon at all
