I'm not sure if you saw in the CEC June thread, but I called up, and she said my Security is In Progress, Eligibility not passed, Criminality not passed. Sounds like I'm still in IP1, even though messaging leads to believe it's IP2.

There's been a trend with the CEC applicants that have been processed quickly; they're not single applicants they all have dependants. It's quite possible that IRCC is trying to fill the 2017 quota quickly by processing families quicker than single applicants. 3 is better than 1 lol.

Awesome did you notice your BG change to NA at all?! Mine did today. Since Aug 25th my status has been as follows
Meds passed
Reviewing whether u meet elligabilty
No additional docs required
Were processing your BG check & today it went to NA. According to the wording above it looks like i was in IP2, however, think i was IP1 & mow with NA its onto IP2? Any ideas?

I completely agree with you, some one with wife and children who applied after me have got ppr already I am still desperate to wait.... wtf cic

I'd also like to know this as my application has changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

I think I read people here say it can take as long as 40+ days. I don't really understand how it can take so long when we have already provided them with police certificates.

This is my current status now. Do you have any updates with your application? I am confused too.

I never noticed any NA under BCG. Just after passing the MEP on Sep 5th, I had the following:

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Additional documents are being reviewed.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

On Sep 26th, Review of additional docs changed to
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Other remains the same.

Just sharing, any comments?
