I wanted to ask that is there any more background checking after CIC request for passport? Or are they done with them and have made their decision?

Background and all file information is tested before making final decision, they only request for approved applications. After passport request they just stamp visa of the already decided application

Also other than passport we also receive some kind of approval letter too right? When will I receive one? Do you have any idea?

I think they send an email of approval letter the same day of the day after they dispatch your passport to your local VFS

i had my medical on last thursday(1 dec 16) and its just 4 days since than so i guess i have to wait than for it maybe more 2 weeks for any response, and i havent got any response yet for passport as i have already sent them with paper application, but i was surprised to see medical request after 10 days of applying file

dont worry.. I guess they will give u passport req soon.. before ur intake..

I hope so , because i am still afraid that they can reject my visa after medical too with any reason too

Allhamuduiilalh today I got approval letter and my case is closed with application approved! All of you thank you so much for giving me hope always and making me feel positive. InshaAllah all those who are waiting will get one soon!
