Background check

Hello please help me. Living in US since 2001 continuous and wanting to apply for Canada FSW in May, do I need to send off for background check from my home country? If yes, can I start that now or do i have to wait until they tell me to? also when should i send off for usa bacground check? I want to have my appliction ready in May thanks

yes the police certificates...do i get them ready for my application or do i have to wait until they request it? getting it from home country can take 3 months...thanks

Actually all pcc are issued for six months only so application takes more time so when they ask you with medical request or a little bit time before of it you can get it...........

In my opinion you mest get Police Character Certificate , as in India and Pakistan , you never smooth running stops!!!!

Actually Application process time is more than six month like 4 or 3 month at Nova Scotia and then next process is due......it takes almost 6 month or more and PCC expire before the time so........if he sent initially he have to arrange twice......

Shelf life of PCC is about 1 year, with VO, from the date of it is obtained. There is a minimal shelf life by the issuing authority as well. Match the math and the application time lines.
