Hello there I have a question about the background check..

I called my ex university(I only did 1 year) to ask for the
Exact dates I was enroll, to put then down on the Schedule form
And they told me they can't find my file and they might not have it any
More because I was on the first generation of my career in that school.
I'm scare that if immigration calls, they will think that I lied :s

Does immigration contacts the schools and places or work we put on the schedule form?

Not generally, no. Since you posted this in family class, I'm assuming that you aren't in skilled worker class (where this might matter). In family class it doesn't matter. Even if they were to investigate it and find out this information, you would be given an opportunity to obtain additional evidence that you attended. But it would be extremely unusual for them to investigate this.

Thank you, I'm trying my best to get exact dates and
hopefully i'll get all the dates right.

If you aren't sure of the dates, add an additional page and explain that the dates are approximate. That way they cannot accuse you of misrepresentation, even if that's very unlikely.

It depends on the immigration officer, and how thoroughly he or she wants to investigate a specific person's file. Sometimes they give it a very brief overview, and other times they can spend hours or even days on one specific application if something doesn't look right or if they suspect something.

My girlfriend knows someone who was doing a spousal application, and the immigration officer checked EVERY little detail in her application. He called her university to confirm that she went there, and he called her work also.
