background check question/ travelling ?

I was just wondering about the background checks, I am a UK citizen and have spent a couple of years travelling and do not remember any specifics as to addresses. I was in Australia and New Zealand and was wondering if I submitted the police checks, will the spend longer on my background check as I had no fixed abode for a number of years.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

I dont think the adddress of where u stayed in New Z n Aus Matters what matters is how long and like u said a few yrs, ie more than 6 months so yes u remember which stae or province or small country, i am not sure but all they need is a police report from thos country so

read the cic website on how to obtain police cert from different countries..

the more countries u have stayed in delyas yr application as they have to check on all theses cpuntries but if u clean, u clean..

i stayed in only one country for more than 6 months and i am one moth into background checks after meds recvd..

It may be different, but when I sent in the paperwork for my background check in the US, they only asked for a current address, not past addresses, so it should be ok.

Dear forum members...I am applying for FSW-1..I lived in australia for one year and Ireland for 2 years for my studies..I have police clearance from Australia after two months of leaving australia and also from Ireland when I left the country after that I never been to abroad except for only three months to Ireland. Kindly let me know that whether I need to get again the police clearances. or they will suffice
