Background check is IP2 but medical still under review

Hello All

I got ITA 12th July and submitted ITA on 26 August. I got AOR on 26 August.

Right now my BG Status is : We are processing your background check (IP2)
but my MEP is still under review.

Did any one had same issue and did any one of you got PPR request after this?

HI ...what is the status of your application now , please ?

I don't know if my status is IP1 or any... Just know that My profile is assigned with UCI. AOR on 8th Dec, UCI generated on 20th Dec. Otherwise nothing happened. When we called the toll free number it said : Your background check is not done.

Medicals not passed yet.
Any clues?

was anyone of you asked for 2nd chest xray by your respective local medical authority ?? i was, so my medical is delayed till 1st March 2018 at least, i got UCI on 20th Dec and medical status changed to, "We are reviewing results of your medical exam", on the same day.

Submission/AOR is 7th Dec.

At least for me, regarding Medicals there was no query. Everything went on well. AOR 8th Dec, and UCI on 20th Dec

i had a query on the day i appeared for medical assessment (29th Nov) , i had some tiny marks in my chest xray so they asked me for sputum test on 4/5/6 Dec followed by 2nd xray on 1st March 2018. So, i reckon my medical will be passed after that.

Hi experts,
In the case that my wife didn't pass the chest X-Ray (she is pregnant), when assessing my application for PR the officer will put my application on hold or only medicals?
I'm meaning the BGC, review of eligibility...

My current status is as below since 21st of Dec:

Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.
Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Not applicable.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Don’t worry. It can happen before that as well. I had a friend who got PPR in 3 months.

There lies the issue.
I filed my application with the help of a Consultant. So have no clue.

Hi, did you get the PPR ?

I am in a same situation. Below is my Timeline.
AOR - 24
Medical Under review since September.
BG - (IP2) Processing since jan 8th 2018
PNP - Outland (USA)
Visa office - Ottawa

Kindly share your experience. Any information will be helpful.

Hi guys,
I need some guidelines here. Our AOR is July 18 and still it says medical exam results is under review.
When we did upfront medical exam, few weeks later they(MHB Canada) asked us for additional information about my spouse’s past medical record.
We provided asked Documents to our panel physician and he submitted them to e-medical portal about a week before we submitted our PR paperwork.
Questions:
1) how long will it take for any new update on our medical exam status? In other words what is their turn around time in such case?
2) let’s say for some reason if the medical is under review, will cic proceed with other steps such as back ground check? OR medical exam passing is required for processing other steps in PR application?
