Background check in student visa

Dear ,

I applied visa on 14th March 2019.
I cleared medical on 28th March after then my file is under background check still my file is under background check

After medical it takes 24hr to 10days for final desicion

I applied offline vfs jalandhar and today status on gckey updated to approved but did not get any mail of approval. What does it mean ?

When did you apply ? and Congrats on getting a visa. I am guessing the reason you didnt get any mail is because when you link your application to Cic account it says that from now everything will be communicated through cic portal instead of sending you emails.
