Background Check in Progress!!

Hello,

I have seen in all the topics where everyone says that there Profile shows in Website Background Check not Needed this time, Why does my Profile shows "IN PROGRESS"

Does that mean that they are really checking my Profile? Would I be in trouble?

Please let me know, very much worried.

No . That just simply means basic checks and eligibility is OK. Now they need to do criminal check and stuff.

Mine started in 18 Oct 2015 and still haven't heard anything from CIC as if today.

Not necessarily means anything, mine changed 4 days after submission and is still the same.
