Background Check in process - PNP

Hello Experts,

Can someone advise me on background check in process since 15 days..

I am PNP candiadate (NSNP -OID EE ), in my express entry profile I can see the status is in Process for Back ground check. Will it be taking long time.

P.S I have 4 year experience under NOC 2171 in Canada.


You are valuable information would be great help for us..

FYI it takes roughly six months for the PR application to finish. How long background checks in particular take depends greatly on how easy it is to verify the information you've given them, and the volume of applications they have.

application sent 29th Aug..so I can expect before 29th Feb.

for Ottawa applicant the BG in progress showed two time from Not needed at this time....is it ur first one or second one?

however its a movement........ and thats a good news.

For some VO such as SGVO and NDVO turns the not needed at this time to in Progress status just before the PPR.
