Background check for spousal sponsorship

Good day i have a question. My husband will sponsor me for spousal visa my question is does the immigration will check my background including my education background and criminal records? Well i dont have criminal records but my problem is the school where i graduated. Its already closed since 1996. Do you think the immigration will call the school to check my records ? Do they n need to check even my application is spousal visa?After i graduated i worked in different school as a computer instructress. They can verify the school if i work there. Pls answer my questions im worried. Thank you and god bless

It's extremely unlikely that your educational background will be checked in the way that you describe. If they suspect that you have not been honest, they will refuse the application or ask you for proof of your stated education.

I don't think your educational background matters, as long as your criminal and medical come out clean. As a spouse being sponsored, your educational or employment background are secondary, as long as your relationship with your sponsor seems legit.

Salam. Don't worry cic did not check your educational certificates but he can only check your criminal background . As you know it doesn't matter. So take it easy. Naveedpcs
