Hello,

My AOR is May 10th, 2024 and on my application it says Medical passed on July 14th, Biometrics updated on July 5th. Currently my application shows :
1)We do not need additional documents
2)We are currently reviewing if you meet the eligibility requirements
3)Back ground check - Not applicable
4)Final decision is in progress
5)You do not need an interview

Any idea when does it say Background not applicable?

Hi!

It's ok, it was "not applicable" for me most of the time. Was changed to "we are processing your background check" or something like that several weeks before the final decision.

It's ok, it was "not applicable" for me most of the time. Was changed to "we are processing your background check" or something like that several weeks before the final decision.

I called IRCC a couple days ago and they mentioned that the eligibility has not started yet but my background is in progress. So was just confused about what's going on here..
