Hi! We have the same ADR about military records. Our AOR is September 29, ADR request was in mid March. Our eligibility was changed to Completed in the end of February. Background is in progress since the tracker creation. The last tracker update was in the beginning of May without any updates...

CEC as well, yes, my medical was updated twice. The last one was in January 2024. Also submitted my old medical exam.

September 29 aor here with the same waiting issue. And my colleges in the same situation with the July aor. You are not alone, hope we all will get answers soon.

I do not have this line in the pr tracker, but most likely have an enchanced security check as well. Next week It will be 8 months since my aor and background check is still in progress. So maybe this line is not a 100% of the enchanced security and may mean anything else, hope that we all will...

How did you get the security screening start date? Do you see this date on your pr tracker?

Unfortunately no one knows the 100% answer to this. You need to submit anything. At least a letter of explanation, better with a new letter from your employer which specifies why they do not have a copy of your initial contract (lost? Do not keep old records?) and with the info of the work start...

Received an update in the GC key several days ago. Background Verification was changed from Not Applicable to We are processing... Tracker also shows that the application was updated, but without any real updates in the tracker. No new lines in the activity for me or my spouse, background...

Hi! I also heard the same, that this tracker update indicates the comprehensive background check. What do you see in your GC key in the background check? "We are processing..." Or "Not applicable"?

Hi everyone! How do you know the start date of the security screening? Do you see it in a pr tracker or should we order gsmc notes to get this information?

Per what I saw statistics is vary here. I saw a post somewhere in the forum when someone got PPR 1,5 month after that. My colleague has had this status since November or December 2023 without any updates.

I applied in the end of September, medical was marked as completed on December 13, 2024 with the expiration date in the past (October 2022). In mid January 2024 expiration date was updated to January 2025.

Hi! Yes, I did. My old medical was accepted, medical is "completed" in the tracker now with the expiration date in January 2025. I did my old medical in the end of 2021 for the work permit. However, I saw cases here where IRCC asked for re-medical in similar cases. So no 100% guarantees here.

Yes, I did. They answered "Sorry, we see that your application is more than 6 month old, it may happen, please give officers more time. Nothing is required from you".

Same story. It becomes harder and harder each day. I have even started to do more fitness just to keep my mind and body busy. Otherwise I ruminate every day about this long waiting... It's exhausting. Hope that you will get any updates soon! It will give me some hope as well.

It depends. I saw some cases here where people received pprs several days after. We did re-medical 3 weeks ago and no updates after that.

I had the same situation for my spouse. He did an upfront exam in August, medical was shown as passed till mid March. In mid March medical was changed from completed to in progress in the tracker and he received a medical exam request. Redid medical and it is shown as passed again with a new date.

Joining this thread to see that someone will get a positive result. We also received the same request for my spouse a month ago, so looks like the long waiting is ahead...
