Background check CHANGED from "Not needed at this time" to "Not Started"

Hi,

I am FSW outlander, and got AOR last month. By the end of October, background check changed from "Not needed at this time" to "Not Started". I saw in some threads that this is happening also to other members. Does anybody know what is happening behind the scenes?

I am in the same boat as you I must say. My Background Check changed from Not needed at this time to Not started. From what I am have learned from people around here is that it definitely a positive change towards the process.

Maybe it will change soon. I think the VO gathered that a background check is needed but has not started to execute it yet.

My case is other way around, it used to be "Background - Not Started" and now it's Background not needed at this time. P.S .... I received ITA in May 2015.

Check your ECAS. Maybe there is some information.

same case with me BG changed to not needed at this time yesterday ..

when can I expect any progress ?
