Back to back one year diplomas

Hello,
I have taken one year diploma program in a college. Can I take another diploma in same college after completing this program ? Or it is mandatory to change the place

If a student obtained a 1-year degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible institution in Canada after having obtained, within the prior 2 years, another degree,diploma or certificate from an eligible institution in Canada, the duration of the work permit may be up to 3 years.

Soo, Both can be from the same institution.There is no such rule of changing college. It's just about having 2 diplomas done before obtaining 3 years work permit from where ever they maybe. Right ?

Hey can I confirm one thing. If I have a sept intake and I'll be done by late April next year. So is it compulsory to immediately do another 1 year program starting may? Or wait till September as in between you may wait for your results n graduation.
