Baby born to Canadian Parent in Pakistan

Hi everyone,

We are expecting a baby in January 2018. During that time my wife will be in Pakistan.

Based on what I have read on forums I understand that we need a birth certificate to apply for proof of citizenship that can take 9 to 10 months.

At same time we can apply for temporary passport which can be issued with in a month.

I want to make sure if above is correct and like to hear from people who have actually gone through the process of applying for temporary passport in Islamabad.

yes you can apply for both at same time in Islamabad.
