My question is can I give birth to my child in Australia and can my new born get Canadian citizenship because I am Canadian citizen??? If new born can get then how many months it take to get Canadian citizenship??
My next question is I ll sponsor my husband and if I go to Australia , this ll effect my husband's sponsorship case or not????

a)How long will you be staying in Australia?
b)Also will you be sponsoring your husband from outside of Canada or will you first sponsor him (while you are in Canada) and then go to Australia?

I am not fully sure about this, but this topic has come up in the past. Yes, your kid will be a Canadian Citizen even if born outside of Canada, because you are a canadian citizen. However, long into the future, if your grandkid is born out of Canada, then your grandkid will not get Canadian citizenship because your kid was not born in Canada. So, think about your grandkid too. Canadian citizenship can only be given one generation down, or be obtained by birth in Canada, or through naturalization via P.R.

As long as OP herself was born in Canada and is a citizen then her child will be Canadian.

If OP was born outside of Canada and obtained citizenship through a parent, then the child will not be Canadian unless born in Canada.

The OP mentioned becoming Canadian April 2015. So I assume the OP meant she became a naturalized Canadian. Thus her child will be Canadian regardless where the child is born, in Canada or outside Canada.

ydj___ is correct though, if you give birth outside Canada, then that child's children won't be citizens automatically unless they are born inside Canada.

Also, no one has mentioned that if you sponsor your husband from Australia you then will have to prove your intent to settle in Canada as part of your application.
