Baby born in Canada - my pr preserved??

Hello,
I just wanted to know,i am a landed immigrant who is working outside canada. what if my baby is born in Canada he/she is a canadian citizen right away........if my canadian baby accompanies me abroad while i fullfill my employment abroad(outside canada) - will my pr be preserved since i am accompanied by my son/daughter who is a canadian citizen by birth?
i need clarification on this aspect of preserving my pr.

Your PR will not be preserved because you are with a Canadian citizen child, only if it is your spouse.
