Hi all,

please how long does it take to get an AOR after applying for your Refugee PR? I’m about to enter the 3rd month with no feedback whatsoever. Do I call IRCC?

Not unusual to take a few months. If you haven’t received AOR after 4 months would follow-up.

It varies and it's normal to have to wait, also there is no harm in calling IRCC you should do it

Unless out of normal processing time the IRCC phone line agent will just tell you that you are experiencing normal processing. Some may want to spend their time trying to reach IRCC only to be put on hold for an hour but would suggest it is a waste of OPs time at this point. It hasn’t even been 3 months. Like anything with IRCC if your timeline is significantly different than others you should certainly follow-up but if processing is taking longer than you want it doesn’t mean there is a problem.
