Awaiting arrival of COPR - then my landing!

Hey All,

I am a UK citizen who recently got his PR, i am currently in status with a 2 year LMIA (expires sept 2017)

Once i get my COPR, do i HAVE to go to the border to do my landing or is there an office i can go to? I hear i can go to the Harry Hays building and do my landing there?

I've flagpoled twice at the the coutts crossing and even though everything is in order, i always feel uneasy going there......

You can do either. They give you a number to call to do the landing at a local office. Sometimes takes a while for the appointment. Or run down to Coutts if you can't wait. They are pretty good about it. No hassles.

I think ill just go coutts and do it.

I tried to email and they said ill get a response in 10 days...which isnt even the actual appointment.

I try to call harry hays CIC and they say they cant xfer me to a person and to call back.

What do i need to take with me to do a border run?

COPR
Passport
Existing work permit (LMIA)

Anything else?

A B4 form if you have anything coming from the UK (personal goods) after landing. That's about it. You've already "flagpoled" so you know that drill, they will ask you a couple of questions:
Are you bringing goods?
Has your status changed?
A mailing address?

It was pretty painless when we did it.
