Average time taken for PGWP acceptance,applying from India

Hi!
I tried searching for a consolidated thread about average time taken for PGWP applications,applied from India. Cic mentions current processing time , as of today, to be 12 weeks. It would be great if we could have a thread mentioning:
1. Date of application for PGWP
2. Date of acceptance/passport request / or Biometric request letter

Good question! I am asking now because I need to tell my university by mid june, if I want to register for 1 extra term. I am trying to find out which approach is better for me, to do a slow paced semester ,or to do a fast paced semester, finish my course, and apply for PGWP from here (outside canada). By the way, pardon me if I am wrong, but I saw that some people on this thread mentioned applying for PGWP since October 2020 and still waiting to get it in April.

PGWP processing has been long. When do you anticipate graduating because you can’t apply for a a PGWP until (as stated on the website) you have:

• an official letter from your school that confirms you’ve completed your study program
• an official transcript, or a copy of your transcript from your school’s website

So that will take time after you finished your studies. You need to decide.

I've applied for PGWP in Dec 2020 and still haven't got a final decision. It's been almost 43 weeks and I don't know how long I still have to wait. So if you're thinking of applying from India, don't.

I hope you get your PGWP soon, but this seems exceptionally wrong. Maybe you can raise webforms about the status or exemption from travelling thing at Delhi consulate. Also, I have heard that if you already have a job, you could ask to expedite the process using the offer letter.

Thanks. I have already tried contacting authorities by emails, calls and webforms. Unfortunately, none of it has been fruitful. Have been trying to get a job now. Hopefully that helps me solve the problem. Sadly, I am not the only one. I know about 10 people who have been waiting since 6 months to 1 year.
