Automatic CRS Score Update in Express Entry Profile

I'm completing my two years of work experience in Canada in two months. I have created my profile back in Nov 2019. I hope my score for completing two years will be automatically updated. But my question is, i have traveled outside of Canada for 2 months. Will it impact my two years experience in Canada? Say Instead of August 2020 will it be consider as Oct 2020 as my two years completion due to the travelling outside of Canada?

If you took unpaid leave and did not work, it will not count as work experience. You have to declare this in your profile.

I took paid leave and have failed the tax for 2019 as well. It is not unpaid leave.

I indicated my start date on work to be July 2018. Yesterday, my CRS score was 440 and today, it updated to be 465. To hit the two years work experience, I thought it won't happen until beginning of July. What should I do!!! I'm working on my PR application and i'm hoping this won't effect the outcome...

Have you already received an ITA?

Yes, I received the ITA last Thursday.

If you are maintaining the score for which you received the ITA without taking into account the additional points, it won't matter.

Ah okay thanks! I was actually surprised that my 2 years experience would be recognized 1 month earlier (thought the score would change during July)

so you got the ITA on the updating score for 2 years or for the score for the 1 year(at the time of application creation)
