Authenticity of LMO and then Work Permit from India

Hi everybody,

I am from India and by God's grace got this forum and want to get answers to following queries desperately to save myself from any fraud (if there is any)

Here is my situation::::

I am a graduate applying for work permit through consultants in India (Chandigarh), they told me that i can get work permit for 2 years in a company from Edmonton , Alberta (Food processing).They also told me that visa is expendable after 2 years stay.

I have following queries::::

1. How to check whether LMO is genuine?
2. How can i check the authenticity of the consultants?
3. What is the total fees required for the process , i mean emabassy fee + medical+ any other?
4. What are the things i should take care of before and after starting the process?
5. Can any consultant apply for my work permit or my representative should be registered or must have any sort of license to represent me ?

Hi i have the same scenario. Get a copy of your lmo amd call the human resource of canada of the city you are applying.
