I think it is the hardest for a secondary school teacher to apply for Australian immigration since they have to appear in both General as well as academic IELTS test.

No, we did not claim partner points.

I claimed for my partner. It has to be in the sol. That's it

Then why did you get both your skills assessed ?
Good question dead bird. First we were not sure how long we had to wait for an invite. So, both of us decided to have our own EOI as primary applicant and wait for an invite. My assessment agency VETASSESS is the laziest of all and took 13 weeks for them to provide a report. Before that EOI with my wife as primary applicant got an invite.

Hi guys,

Forgive me if this has been answered before but the partner also needs to have a skills assessment? :o

not necessarily, although if you do it, it gives an extra 5 pts if they have competent English (IELTS 6 in all)at a min.

Hi, my NOC for Canada is NOC 6314 (Customer and information services supervisor) for 3 years and 8 months experience. Do I have any chance to be invited in Australia? I also have a relative in Caberra.

Thank you, i dont think customer service and informations supervisor is in either 1 of them but I can apply as a registered nurse, how long should be the minimum time for experience?

Are you a registered nurse? You need a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Hi jairichi! Thank you for your contribution to this thread.
I just received an invitation to apply for PR from Skill Select and I am about to submit my application. I have all of my documents ready, including my skill evaluation from Engineers Australia.
I am hoping to receive my PR confirmation very quickly, like you did, perhaps within the next 3 months.

I was wondering if you have landed in Australia yet and how you are finding the way of living over there.
Thank you in advance and wishing you the best!
