A very big Congratulations to all MR Recipients, i was surprised to see about 9 updates within 48hrs. God is indeed great.
@ Ashela, i feel your pain. I am hopeful that latest mid next week we will all receive our updates. I think we are 6 left . Though i understand that you are the oldest MI3 here, but i want you to remember that we are not alone.

However i must not fail to mention our dear Arese for your well deserved MR. For those that are still expecting updates, keep the faith and see what the Lord will do. Congratulations everybody. It is with a feeling of in-explainable nostalgia that I glorify God & announce to this great house the arrival of my family's MR & RPRF, along side the request for POF,Police Clearance Certificates & completion of forms IMM 5669 & 5406.
Words will definitely not suffice in appreciating you all for your support & encouragement through out the nerve-wrecking wait period(2yrs 4months).
May God bless us all & see us through to completion of this process.

Please kindly advice on how safe it is to use a passport expiring in Sept 2015 for the medicals.

No issues - pls go ahead. Sept 2015 is still a long way to go with 19 months time span.

Arese, you can use even one month to expiry passport for Medical. It is PPR time that you need to have a passport that is valid for at least 12 months. Please go ahead with your Medical very fast. Besides, Immigration will not issue you a replacement passport for one that has expiry date that is more than 1 year.
