i sent mine same date, and still nothing. do we get the notification through email?
i need the AOR in order to get my drivers license.

can you please tell me what does PCC stand for?
 
hey vanita i am also still waiting for my AOR.. it can come in the mail or they can email it to you. AOR will give ur application No. You dont need an AOR to get ur drivers licence. jsut go to the DMV and they will guide you.

PCC means Police clearance. As per requirement for CIC if you have live in any country including you citizen country. We need to get a police clearance certificate from that country and even Canada. If you have been here more than 6 months.

I hope this information is helpful and keep posting ur update on this forum.

PS: once u receive ur AOR u can link ur account cic.gc.ca as you can keep a check on updates of ur application. 8)

My timeline:
Application received: August 10
AOR1 (sponsor): August 30
AOR2 (applicant): September 16

and yeah, i sent the PCC upfront.

which province are you? cause i am in BC and i went to ICBC and they told me i can get a full drivers license if i pass the test, but they need a document saying that i am applying for immigration or something like that before i take the test, so i thought they meant the AOR.

in the mean time i can drive with my own drivers license from my country but only for 3 months.

I am from Ontario... My license is valid in Canada as its a US.. but when i went to DMV... They never asked me about my status.. and either we have to inform them.. it is mandatory to have a canadian license if we are here for a long time... keep posting ur timelines..

hello everybody, i assume that by this point everybody has the work permit?
i have my work permit and BC drivers licence.

is anyone filing taxes? my husband has to put me as his dependant.. anyone did it already?
