my husband had a few visa rejections. do you guys think this can cause any delays? im really worried about this

What is the wording of your background check? Some July applicants still haven't got any updates yet, don't worry, your case is normal. I have two visa rejections as well, one for Canada and one for US. As long as you declared them, it shouldn't be the reason to reject your case since you are already in Canada.

I called CIC-Ottawa last Oct24, and the agent told me that I passed the eligibility requirements last week (week before I called) and that they just upgraded their system. and that they will start with my criminality and security check. But up until now, the eligibility still remains we are reviewing, it never changed to passed. I don't have a dependent and my PR application is just for me only. I'm still waiting and nothing.

I don't think those will be updated until you get PPR. I have a friend, her never changed until she received it. Specially, eligibility and BGC status.

You're right, if you go through the tracker you will see the difference. I am cec inland (single), and found ppl from Sep (with dependents) are getting PPR.

Also, CEC is slower than FSW.

Yah, I am not looking at FSW, they usually get it faster anyways.

I think we CEC ppl are kinda stuck.. it's not even 3 months, but sill.

My application is refused
My employment letter did not list my duties, and i explained in explanation letter why, but still they refused. After three months waiting.
