@jman25 I've called them to ask about the CoPR. Yes, @daredevil1212 was correct, it will be mailed to the address we've indicated on the reply email. The mail consists of the CoPR letter and some instructions like 2 digital photos and etc that we need to send by mail on the address they will be providing. Since you've confirmed your telephone interview, it will still proceed regardless if you have the mailed CoPR or not (just tell the interviewer if you don't have it).

When I called them, they confirmed that they mailed it to my address last Dec 7, so I will check my mailbox everyday :) It's really a cool process if this will be the process. Congrats to all of us :)
Ok thanks a lot. But if they call and you don't have it they will tell you to mail it back to them whenever you receive it and to wait for a rescheduled interview.

you mean email them back to reschedule the interview is that correct? Cuz I don't think you will need to mail the CoPR letter back to them. The agent I talked to read my CoPR letter to me over the phone when I called just a few minutes ago. CoPR letter indicates the ones they're requesting to be mailed to them, and then once they received and process it, you will get your PR card by mail in 60 days.

yeah a few persons in another forum have received their calls and have not received their CoPRs in the mail and when they tell the agent they haven't received it the agent asked them to mail it back to them and to do normal landing process. At least 2-3 persons have reported on this issue so far.

No idea really. Because according to the pilot announcement from CIC website, we shouldn't ask / volunteer to be part of the new initiative. it's a selection process. Maybe you can call / email them and ask when you will receive PPR just like what @tushya did.. really don't know.. sorry

Interesting. This was not the details the agent told me. He said (if ever) I can just let the interviewer know that I don't have a CoPR yet.. not return the document back and do the normal process. Anyway, since Ottawa and Montreal have the same timezone as Toronto, then I wouldn't worry. I just need to make sure I am available on the timeframe set.. This is really confusing process, I initially thought it's good one :(

They should have do an alternative option like reschedule the telephone landing interview once CoPR is received, not advise to return everything back and do normal process. It's never our fault if we'll receive it late by post.

My point exactly it's not our fault. And it definitely makes more sense to have us keep it and then reschedule another interview but hey... thats IRCC for ya! I pray we get ours in time. My interview is tomorrow morning so here's to hoping.

sorry.. @jman25 during your phone interview with them tomorrow morning, can you ask him/her if we can still ask for a reschedule if CoPR is not yet received? if yes, can it be done BEFORE or AFTER the scheduled phone interview? IF NO to any, ask / propose why there's no alternative option(s) instead of going back to normal process? As it's really saddening to see (given the comments from others on another forum site). Thanks mate :)

It’s on a long letter brown envelope (like the normal letter you receive from your bills) from IRCC Montreal. Hope you have yours too. God Bless to us all!

Thanks.. email them too.. You will have yours soon, I’m sure. Congrats! :)
I did emailed too. So, that is what I got from the agent. She said:

The letter is ready for me and it's in Ottawa. The reason I am not getting it because of the traffic. Meaning, they're clearing out the traffic prior applications. Now, it would take 4 weeks to get the passport back, earlier it used to be 10 days. So, if they ask for it now, then it would take 4 weeks or more. So, they're waiting to clear those. Plus, it's a holiday season.

She can't say when I will get it, but she assured that I am approved, it's just the email that they will send at any time. Not sure when.

So they said they sent it out on December 6th but I dont know to where lol. I put my home address when I responded to my email but I have a representative and they used their mailing address and they said my representative would be the first point of contact for anything so I am just waiting to see what happens.
