Congratulations Anant!

Can you please share some more details like number of dependents, extent of travel, number of PCCs submitted, whether reference letter provided directly by employer or taken from colleague/supervisor, etc.

Thanks

The factors are:

The completeness of the application;

the nationality of the applicant;
the travel history;
medicals ( straightforward for the principal applicant and family);
working in Canada ( it does help whether one applies in CEC or not!)
Prevous work history ( i.e. previous military or security services work in any manner would take CIC much longer to check thoroughly)

Hope that helps.

It also depends on the stream I think. There are many people in CEC here in Canada who are from countries where applicants are receiving PPR in one month but those applicants are FSWO. Both provided complete upfront and straight-forward medicals, very minimal and clear travel history. 1 maybe two PCCs.

However, CECs are taking on average 3-5 months to process while FSWO applicants are getting processed within a month or less according to Myimmitracker and a couple whatsapp groups.
