4. I will answer you question #4 first. Your employer may need to get a labour market opinion (LMO) from Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC). An LMO confirms that there is no Canadian or permanent resident available, and the employer can fill the job with a foreign worker.
What is inside your LMO? Andun yung Employer information, Job information at ibang rules, conditions at part ng employer mo na shoulder nila e.g. medical cost and coverage, recruitment and travel cost, etc.. Sa job information andun na nakalagay ang NOC code at title, Level of education and etc.
Sa NOC code mo din malalaman if skilled, semi skilled or lower skilled woker ka. NOC A & B ay mga skilled yan sila, University degree (bachelor's, master's or doctorate) and management na position nila or Two to five years of apprenticeship training. Ang NOC C & D; Some secondary school education, with up to two years of on-the-job training, training courses or specific work experience and NOC Level D ay Short work demonstration or on-the-job training or No formal educational requirements.
(Occupations in Skill Types 1 through to 9 are classified under Skill Levels A, B, C or D. The second digit of the NOC code represents the level as follows: A = 0 and 1, B = 2 and 3, C = 4 and 5, and D = 6 and 7.) Example, Food Counter Attendant NOC Code is 6711. Dahil ang second digit is 7 so na fall sila sa NOC Level D or low skilled worker.
LMO is different from job contract. Yan ang dalawa ang dapat kunin mo sa employer mo. Bago ka maka apply ng TWP sa CEM.
