Hi MDoha,

The Police Clearance is requested from your original country, and any other country you stayed more than 6 months in a row, this is because usually if you stay 6 month or more, you need to be on Resident Status and this is when you need the police report from that country.

I already sent my PC from my original country and fom Qatar, only left my wife's PC of Qatar, she is on family resident visa, but she totalised only 8 months, and the longest stay was 2 months.
by the way i was refering the below quotation that I found on the cic website, it talk about 6 consecutive months,

My best guess is that you need to make it also for your wife from Qatar, when the passport will be given to the embassy, they will see she is resident, I am not sure they will be counting the days she stayed or not; as long as there is a residency, there is a need for the police report.

hi guys! i got an email from embassy that requiring me to submit an NBI certificate from philippines which actually i have it with me, i just forgot to attached on my application however i gave them PC from UAE and PC from phils. i thougt PC from phils will be fine, they still ask for NBI (national Bureau of investigation)
