Any news for you? Nothing for me. Waiting since December last year

From what I learnt from the Gcms I ordered..my file was randomly sent to Sydney office and from the gcms the Prohibitions, Language and physical presence are being handled by Sydney office R8090 and the due date they have to complete my lpp is Aug 25 2025, sad as it will b 1 year by then

Looks like your nationality is in the Same pool as mine because when I applied, the processing time was 5 months and crossing 7 months now. Nobody touched my file for two straight month then I called the IRCC to see wth is going on, then they move my file so that it can be worked on. This org is pathetic, slow, incompetent and useless. It sounds like either nobody working on your file at the moment or it is going under additional bullshyt review.

Background check is not a big deal. The problem lies in the LPP. This can take up to year and even more. Keep bugging this incompetent and useless organization and wish you luck!!!

how do you know that is not a big deal, while people stuck at this stage since 2022 2023 and even 2024? BG check is huge and you never know if you are going through aggressive BG check or not.

No updates for me yet. How horrible that it's taking them so long for you. Have you contacted them for an update?

You can know your processing office by the email address where you received your citizenship test invite from. Applicants whose applications are with Niagara Falls office will receive invite from an email that ends in NGFRN.IR

This was the email inviting me to take the test but I can't figure out which office it is;

I thought it was Vancouver cause they later had an in person interview with me.

My sister submitted and her family submitted her application last August 2024. Up till now, only Background check, test and finger test are completed while others are in progress. Did anyone else experience same issue?

Same here. I applied with my husband in August 2024. His tracker only shows test and background check completed. No updates since December last year.
My tracker is only pending prohibitions... don't know what it's going on. I'll try to call them tomorrow.
Do you know which office? Ours is Vancouver.
