P1 (Portal 1) is the first email you get from IRCC to provided with basic personal details for the applicants (eye color, height, UCI, address, first/last entry in Canada). Basically, to confirm if you're still in Canada. P2 (Portal 2) is the email you receive with a temporary password from IRCC for the account they created for you in PR Portal where you have to declare your presence in Canada and submit photos to process your e-COPR and later download it from the portal once generated. P1 and P2 are only for inland applicants.

If you're outland you will receive the RFV (Ready For Visa) email instead of P1 and P2.

Also, if you have used an immigration consultant, you can ask them to send a screenshot of your current stages that are showing in the GCkey. I would suggest you register using your UCI, application number and other personal details to create a tracker account. Over there, you would be able to track every stage of your application more precisely. However, you can only create a tracker account once you receive BIL (Biometrics Instructions Letter).

Hi , In P1 with Option A you can share your email for all dependent , but in the details of individual section do you need to provide dependent email id?

When I received P1, it did not mention anything about "Option A". Did you receive something mentioning about "Option A"? Mine just said "you will act on behalf of the dependents" and if we want separate "then indicate while replying to the email". We sent one reply including all our details from the principal applicant's email. For email, you can use the principal applicant's email for every dependent.
