My Tracker shows eligibility not started and BC in Progress

My bio and medical update on tracker on November 7. That’s the last update, Donno how long I need to wait for my eligibility to start

Your eligibility was always "In Progress"ever since you had a "Recommended Pass" by the case analyst. For the final pass, it has to be reviewed by the visa officer before actually passing it. Chances are the officer is reviewing it!

Do you know how much it will take officer finishing eligibility and security??
Because last time i called it was recommended pass and now in progress

The officer might have opened your file, which is why it's showing as "in progress". Give it a week and see if it gets updated to passed. However, it totally depends on the officer regarding the completion of this stage.

That means your eligibility still hasn't started. Better call them and ask if your eligibility has a recommended pass or review required?

Security still not started since 19th nov is there any reason for that?

I received my P1 email from my consultant today, which was sent by IRCC on Dec 6th. I responded with the information now.

However, I'm slightly concerned. How do we know if the IRCC received the response to the P1 email? They do not have an automated acknowledgement email to let us know they received it. Do we need to call and check?

Don't worry, they received it. There's no automated acknowledgement anymore. Since, you just submitted, it's gonna be at least a week before you get P2 as per current trend. Don't stress over it too much.

Security will only get initiated if you pass your eligibility. Usually, info-sharing and criminality are done earlier in the process. Security is the last step of the background check.

I'd say wait at least till January 6 before making more calls. Don't stress out and kill your peace like this! Eventually, everything's gonna work out! Patience is the only thing required of you my friend!

The reason I'm apprehensive is because my spouse received PFL on her SOWP application last year, and we answered with all supporting documentation. Unfortunately, they denied her application by stating that they never had their queries answered (implying that they never received our documentation).

Anyway, I just hope they got it.
