I just got a GU this morning, but nothing reflects on the actual tracker yet. I am really out of my patience waiting for so long for security clearance.

My timeline:
  1. Aug 26, 2023 Apply (online)
  2. Sept 29, 2023, Receive AOR
  3. Oct 13, 2023, Test invite via email
  4. Oct 23, 2023, Test taking
  5. Oct 27, 2023, Ghost update (Test completion marked in the tracker Oct 25)
  6. Mar 19, 2024, Ghost update (nothing reflects in the tracker)
  7. Nov 15, 2024, Ghost update (Language and Presence marked completed in the tracker Nov 13)
  8. Mar 18, 2025, Ghost update (nothing)

It happened one year after the March 19, 2024 GU. Must be the renewal of your criminality check as that one lasts a year.

Thanks! I checked my GCMS notes from last year which show criminality clearance updated on October 10, 2023, and its validity date being October 9, 2024. Wondering if the officer did the renewal back in October last year or just did it recently?

I applied for my GCMS notes and got them yesterday.
What information should I look in the notes?
On my tracker portal, prohibition and background check have been in progress for a year now since March 2024. I'm wondering if any information in notes can be found to see which step is the background check and prohibition at exactly. Thanks!

The security part of the GCMS is most likely redacted. It is for most people, if not all.

look for criminality status. It should say passed or in progress.

also, check and see if your primary office has changed. I see quite a few people with their office being changed to Vancouver.
Also look for “location” on the third page and see what’s written there.

mine has changed from e-grant clearance pending to grant clearance pending. Have no idea what it means though :).

bottom line is… wait wait wait!!!

Thanks! It says criminality passed. Yes primary office has changed to Vancouver. Location is Grant Clearance Pending.
Not sure what any of these mean.

I have the same timeline with "grant clearance pending" status. do you have any update?

I’ve been trying to log into my account since yesterday, but I keep getting an error that says, “We’re experiencing a technical difficulty.” Is anyone else facing this issue, or are you able to log in without problems? I’d really appreciate your input!
