Does anybody in this thread knows how does the timeline for minor citizenship application section 5(2) looks like? I submitted online on August 30, 2023 and still not received AOR.

For me, it is weird. I received the test invitation on tracker, no official email yet. And my background check is still shown "in progress" now. Is it normal?

it is normal for background and test to be 1-2 weeks close to each other. You will get email shortly for the test.

Same here. Awaiting for Minor+1Family, submitted Aug31, submitted online. Today as of 06-Oct, they are processing for week of Aug 14.

I wonder what's going on with my application.

I filed application for my family on Aug 14th and received AOR for myself and my family members on 19th...Background verification for myself and my wife was completed on Sep 27th but my son (8 year old) background verification is still in progress...is this normal?...when can we expect citizenship test invite?

AOR Sept 18, I got my background verification passed today. I hope I get my citizenship test invite in the upcoming weeks!
