Thank you so much! Interview was fast, maybe took only 10 minutes, and it was just to test my knowledge of English, even though I provided them with CELPIP and had high scores on it. After that, Oath went to in progress in 4 days and Oath was scheduled for 6 days. Incredible how long it took altogether. Your day is coming too, just don’t give up!! I was so stressed and frustrated for waiting so long knowing that my husband waited for only 5 months. I had around 13 GCMS notes, lol. I think I got on their nerves badly, so in the end they just wanted to get rid of me!
Happy for you :)

It was reported that the volume of applications received for various programs, such as provincial nomination, Federal Skilled Worker, work permits, and asylum, can impact processing times. Certain programs maintain a consistent number of applications each month, leading to relatively stable processing times. However, other programs experience fluctuating application volumes throughout the year, with some being open for applications only during specific periods. Therefore, depending on your program, this variability often causes their processing times to change frequently.

Hi,

Is anyone still waiting on their citizenship application from August 2023?

My application hasn't been updated since March.

Background check & Prohibition - In progress
Citizenship - Not Started
Other steps - Completed

Is there any useful actions that can be taken that has worked or speeded up the process for others?
