I see. that's not great but reassuring at least. My father got scheduled for citizenship on May 29. He applied in january. Everything about his application is more complex. he had multiple jobs while all I did was studying lol. Everything else is the same. Same address history, same absences (zero). The only difference is our names, DOB and his job history vs my studies.

I called and they said my application is non-routine and can take however long it takes. When I asked for a timeline, they basically said, there are non-routine applications that have been sitting for 3 years. It wasn't a threat, at least I didn't feel like it was one, but it is actually really sad to imply that it might take years.
